Testing environment, OSX+Parallels+Xampp = HOW?

Hi, My name is Phil
Please excuse my ignorance in the next few questions...

I'm in the process of configuring
a XAMPP testing type system:
iMac Snow Leopard + Parallels
with 2xWinXP(ie6 & ie7) and 1xWin7(ie8)

I want 1 single folder on Snow Leopard & have the
other OS's/Servers to share that folder.
I think what I want might be a virtual intranet if such a thing exists.
Does anyone have any simple
clear instructions on how to do this?

So far I done:

1. Installed Xampp on OSX using
http://localhost/~myusername/
as the general site files folder

2. Installed Parallels(with the 3 windows os' & ie browsers installed)

3. In System Preferences>Sharing>'Web Sharing'
set to disabled to not create conflicts

Do I need to install Xampp on the
other Windows OS's also? if yes how to config?

As I have a slow 3g net connection speed
I'd rather not use a net connection for testing
Is there a networking work around this?
