    Random List/Menu Values using ASP

    Hi all,

    I hoped this would be a fairly easy script to source but alas not.

    What i'm trying to achieve is to display the values in a regular XHMTL List/Menu in a random order (This is for a form in a survey. As people tend to click the first item without thinking i hope to reduce the statistical anomaly by placing the different options in a random order).

    Here's what the HTML would look like:
    <form id="form1" name="form1" method="post" action="">
    <label>
    <select name="select" id="select">
    <option value="option1">option1</option>
    <option value="option2">option2</option>
    <option value="option3">option3</option>
    <option value="option4">option4</option>
    </select>
    </label>
    </form>

    Any links or advice would be much appreciated!!!

    Thanks,
    Dan

    if you are you are using vbscript as your programming language then you should look into use of the statement called "randomize"

    google : vbscript randomize

    for examples
