Trying to run CGI and Perl script but not running

I am using Xaamp 1.7.2 I I am trying to run a CGI and Perl Script but it is not running. Anybody can help me? how I run CGI and PERL in Xaamp server.

Could you please provide a bit for detail.

What operating system you are running it under?
What sort of error message are you getting when you access the script?
Are you running a very simple "hello world" type script or a script of your own?
Can you access a html page in the same directory as the perl script?

One of Xaamp's reasons to be is it should install and run with all the configuation happening on the install.

I believe that test perl scripts are provided. have you tried to run one of them?
