    Question CSS application issues

    Is it possible to use the a:... series of tags to reflect the orginal style applied to the text?

    For example, I want to apply a link to a heading or some other style that may be different colors, but only want to enable the text decoration=none and the color change for a:hover.

    Is this possible? Any and all help is appreciated!

    Your best bet is to use classes. So you have a { color: #ff0000; } then for your header use a.header { color: #ff9900; } And the same for a:hover { color: #009900; } and a:hover.header { color: #000099; }
