    Advertising networks

    I receive quite a bit of traffic to my privacy sites and I'm currently using focusIN for my advertising solutions. I'm looking for a secondary advertising solution if possible.

    Currently this is what I recieve:
    468x60 => $0.14 CPM & $0.04 CPC
    Popups => $0.30 CPM

    That could be a lot better for the amount of hits I receive. If anyone has delt with some excellent advertisers please respond, my revenue is about 75% based on my advertising and although I'm making quite a bit of money with that rate, I think I could be making more if I found another advertiser.

    Note - I forgot to mention my traffic, I have three sites which combined recieve 1,000,000-1,250,000 pageviews/mo (the sites are very very similar). I'm looking for a network which displays mainly CPM ads. If anyone has delt with any good advertisers please let me know.

    Thank you very much.

    Take a look at FastClick, Burst! Media, or DoubleClick.

    They all pay CPM for banners and pop ups. I believe Burst! Media pays more, but they usually only accept niche sites.

    Thanks Silverado4x4! I also wanted to leave focusIN for a while because when they switched management or whatever I lost a good $200 and they wouldn't send it out because they said they weren't responsible for it.

    I was going to join DoubleClick but I thought you needed around 5,000,000 impressions/mo to even get looked at. Can someone clear this up before I join?

    Any other suggestions?

    I think you only need a couple hundred thousand to get in.
    One of my sites gets over a million page views a month and I only give doubleclick 300K-600K page views a month..
    So you definitely don't need more than 1MM
    Thanks

    Well FastClick & Burst quickly got back to me and told me I was rejected.

    I still have yet to hear a response from tribalfusion.com and doubleclick.com.

    Ouch, those are some low rates. I would try to get into Fastclick just for popunders. I receive $2.5 CPM rates regularly with their popunders and about $0.50 on their banners. It could really help you if you get in.

    I use fastclick too and am quite happy with their pay rates.

    If you don't get into FC, Webhitsdirect.com is an often overlooked alternative. If I wasn't using FC, I'd use WHD. FocusIn IMHO is a shady company (runs gator pop ups). I'd avoiding dealing w/ them if you can.

    ratestar, I replied to your email last night.

    I cannot get into FastClick for some reason, I've applied three times with my three different sites and they all got rejected without any reason. I tried to apply again but it wouldn't work (site URL already in database). I know I'm missing out a lot on potential money since I'm not with FastClick which is why it annoys me so much.

    70%-80% of my focusIN banner revenue comes from CPM popup campaigns. I haven't heard any complaints from my users though so I don't think they mind. My ever-growing pageviews speak for themselves. Mind you I offer the same services that most sites charge for which is why my hits are growing so quickly and why my users aren't complaining.

    I would leave focusIN if I could but I can't afford to right now. I've got into advertising.com but I've dealt with them before and from the experience I had with them they had really really bad CPM rates. So I probably won't deal with them again.

    I wish I could get in to FastClick. Anyway thanks for all the help.
    -Jeff

    When reapplying to FastClick, instead of using the same URL, enter your URL as:

    http://www.domain.com - reapply

    Hi,

    I remember I was rejected from FastClick the first two times I applied. I emailed them after the second rejection and they told me that I had a few pages with content that was kind of in the "obscene" area and told me the pages. So I removed them, reapplied, and was accepted. So it wouldn't hurt to send them an email asking why you keep getting rejected

    Has anyone tried httpads? If so, how are they?
