Vote For The Official SitePoint T-Shirt

It's been a while coming, but I'm pleased to finally be giving you the chance to vote for the new Official SitePoint T-Shirt.

We ran a competition over at 99Designs and I have narrowed the contenders down to three. You have 7 days to place your vote.

The winner of the poll will take away the $500 prize and their design will be available for purchase just as soon as we get it printed.

Important: Only forum members that signed up before June 2010 qualify to vote in this poll.

    So here are your options:

    Entry 1

    Entry 2

    Entry 3

I'm really hoping that #1 makes it - While I like the idea of #3, it's just too plain :S Also, I'm not really sure what the number has to do with anything...Coding isn't a sport, is it?

Also, I quite like wearing ties and #1 give me that awesome without actually having to wear one! (If #1 wins, I'll be buying several!)

Entry #3 rocks! I'm ready to purchase. And is that a University of Tennessee orange? Sure hope so... Go Vols!

Voted #3. Needs a splash of blue tho. Would change the 01 to 010 so it looks binary.

Would be good with the old joke: "There's only 10 sorts of people in the world, those who understand binary, and those who don't"

Then you could have a sitepoint slogan like: Sitepoint understands

Re #1, I hate wearing nooses, um, ties... no chance me voting on that one!
Re #2, Fair idea but not resolved enough

    Smile

#1, #3 is a close second though... kinda reminds me of my Massive Attack t-shirt I got at their gig a few months back.

#3 all the way. Sure its simple, but it's elegant. #1 is cool, but I would never wear it.

I really hope it's number three, it has an understated element of simplicity about it (which I love). Sure it could do with being offered in different colors (not sure if that's going to happen - we'll have to ask Sarah) but for me, I personally think number two is too busy looking and number one is a bit cheesy (faux ties are kinda silly, unless that design is meant to qualify as the "smart casual" look when you're at a business meeting with a client!).

    PS: Shame #69 didn't make it, was a nice design - http://99designs.com/t-shirt-design/...558/entries/69

I don't really want my photo plastered on the chests of thousands of people so I had to veto it.

Awww man. #1 and #3 are awesome.

#2 is good, but a bit too much going on there visually IMO - the mix of straight edges and curves doesn't play well for me.

I'm going to vote for #3 (ideally in blue).

I personally really liked #2. I really like the simplistic design for #3 and I liked the colors and sports theme, but I wasn't crazy about the phrase on the front...it just didn't seem to go with the sports jersey theme. But I really like the idea and it looks super cool. And #1 I just wouldn't ever wear that one.

#1 is really ugly (sorry if I'm hurting any feelings)
#2 is a bit too much for my taste
#3 I don't like the slogan too much, but the design is good and the color is just fantastic! The Dutch could wear it in the World Cup

I was just thinking the same thing!

I miss the Choose Your Weapon shirt with all the browsers.. an opportunity to show the world what we devs wrestle with daily (and a bit about what we do). I guess I'd choose #3, ties don't look good on chicks unless they have punk hairdos.

Yeah. that was a good one but there were copyright issues with the logos.

#3 you can have it any colour.

i you cannot have it in any colour, and i don't see why not, then i wouldn't buy any of them.

#1 we're not all as geeky as that, thanks
#2 hell no, not a cool t-shirt and not good marketing either
