    Unhappy Please help me friends

This is the site which I made for
    CBN India.

    The url is http://www.cbnindia.org

The problem that I have is It gets only 50 visitors per
day. It is registered with all the major search engines.

We also advertise about this site in the programs we air
    weekly on TV.

Please check this site and tell me how can I improve
upon this site, to get more visitors.

thank you all in advance for your help

it may be registered, but are you listed? are you listed with all the directories possible as well? (see the 1st thread for resources).

most importantly though, querystrings are bad. read this excellent article by aspen:

The fact that your index redirects to another page isn't helping matters either.

It is right that the url is redirecting but it is
    redirecting in the same domain.

doesn't matter, search engines like Google treat each page as an island, they do not look at a site wide basis.

Wait, why are you redirecting to the same page? Anyways, redirection/cloaking hurts se rankings.

    it seems a server side redirect;
in my opinion you don't have to worry about it.

I did the same thing on other sites, well placed on google, inktomi, etc...

hate to break it to you, but they mind client side <meta > refreshes less.

there's never really much reason to redirect anyway, except for lazy programming. if you're completely revamping a site, its best to put meta refreshes on the old pages. the spiders will pick up the new pages quickly.

ya, if you must redirect do it client side. I've done a few tests with Google and they refused to follow server side redirects.

You shouldn't be doing it at all though. If you need a variable defined in your index.php file it's much easier to just say

    $variable = "xxx";

    than to redirect to main.php?variable=xxx

while not all SEs care about META tags, yours are terrible.

First you have keywords in the description and NOT the keywords META.

Then your words are WAY too general and I'm sure you don't really care about most of those words anyway.

Do you really want people to goto your website for words like:
    Halloween
    news
    clinton
    help

    Wink

    hi all

I have changed my site coding so that it will not refer
to other page. Thank you all it was just a small thing
I was setting cookies in the index page and then I was
redirecting. Now I found the solution.

Golgotha I will change the description and key words.

    will this increase the traffic

    thanks in advance.
