    Hi!!!

    Just wondering:

    - instead of using a hexadecimal number to the background color...
    - how is done a gradient bg? A table? And not using a table is possible?

if it's possible in the hexadecimal way of doing it i'm not aware of it.

try creating the gradient as a jpeg (gifs won't let u create a smooth transient colour image) in something like photoshop and set it as <body background="yourimagename.jpeg">

I was wondering if there is a crazy tricky to do it.

    Thank you.

Actually there is a way of getting gradient backgrounds using some bizzare IE filter, but it's a completely proprietary extension and hence not worth bothering with. Have a hunt around on MSDN if you want to find out how to do it, the info is sure to be on there somewhere.

You can do a nice top to bottom gradient using a one pixel width jpg and then setting its width in the code to whatever you need - I like to set it to 100% within a table set to 100%.
