CPC rates for webmaster related affiliate traffic.

I'm considering starting CPC affiliate program for the site which needs webmaster related traffic.

When I visited/inquired different networks they quoted me from $0.05 to $0.25 per click at the same time paying publishers $0.02-$0.20 (from theit sites).

So I decided that if I start off with introductionary $0.04 and will rise it up to $0.25 basing on quality and amount of bandwidth it should work.

I plan to increase PPC rate basing on:

    1. Quality. When site brings more sales per 100 clicks it gets extra cent in PPC rate say those who bring one sale per 500 click have $0.04 per click and those who bring one sale per 400 clicks have $0.05 per click

    2. Quantity if the site can deliver more tha say 2000 clicks monthly it can get extra cent per click, etc.

So have I caught current industry affiliates rates? Would it be interesting for you as potential affiliate to paticipate in the program or networks are more attractive?
Is any other factors that could be taken in considerartion when building pay scale?

I would much rather join a CPA program that had awesome returns. It sounds like you've got a great product to sell.

Why I'd rather join a CPA program:

-CPC programs (individual people, not networks) usually disappear, or the members don't get paid
-Easy to cheat CPC, and in return, honest affiliates suffer by lower payouts
-CPA much more stable, and you can usually write your own ad copy
-No need to be worried about getting cut off just because you're making good money with it

Publisher, it is actually under development now and should be aavible at the begining of the next week. I PMed your with details.

Silverado, we already started with CPA program with commisions ranged from $10 to $97. (The site is differ from that in my signature and I don't post it in order not to violate rules). But I thought CPC can interest more publishers than CPA.

Basing on my calculations when publishers will bring a sale each 200-500 clicks he should make much more with CPA.

Am I wrong? Do you think that CPC will attract publishers with bad quality traffic?
