Two things...
1. Find a different server. Your Server took about 25 seconds jsut to figure out which page you were. That signals an overloaded computer.
2. Add height and width tags to all your images. If the web based control panel at Familyshoebox will let you do that.

Thank you. Maybe I will move it, but I kind of like familyshoebox(I don't know why!) I know they must be overloaded, there are tons of pages with nothing on them!! I will think about it, thanks again.
Also the page is very long, i would suggest 1. using tables, or 2.frames to shorten the lenght. And what WLuke said was true, it took forever just for my browser to find the page... A good free site provider is unknown to me since i use only Geocities and Angelfire. But someone i know said Tripod was a quick loading free service.. And also Space Ports..
Tables and Frames while good at organizing the content and controlling the presentation of your page will not make it load faster. Tables will add anywhere from 25% to 100% more load time depending on the complexity of your layout. Frames add up subsequent hits to the server which will slow down the server even more and cause the page not be to indexed by search engines.
Whenever your trying to decrease the load time of a page you must remove coding not add to it.
