    On the intro page of my website, I planned to have a sequence of animated GIF to tell the visitor some story like a banner. I am worry the file size will be too big(might be a few 00s Kb). So, I planned to have the GIF in three parts in 3 or 4 different page. But having a problem to try and figure out how to let them autoload the next page after the first GIF finish.
    Or, can anyone tell ne a better way to do it.
    was thinking about Flash, but I don't want to hussle the visitor to download the plug-in.

    you could try this:

    <img src="big01.gif" onLoad="window.location.replace('big02.gif');">

    after big01.gif loads, then the page will automatically load big02.gif. i'm not sure if this is what you want to do because it clears big01.gif off of the screen before loading big02.gif...

    i hope this helps!
