How does Lycos rank?

What are the things that the lycos engine considers when it ranks web pages.

Lycos uses FAST results for its search. FAST is very similar to Google.

You should put your keywords in the normal places such as the Title and META tags, link text and a few keywords in the content of your page. Putting your keywords in a couple of ALT tags couldnt hurt either.

fast doesn't use the meta keywords tag.

yes, though not to the same extent as Google or AltaVista seem to.

So what should I do? I've done these:

1)meta tags
2) meta description
3) title
4) put some keywords in text on index

Anything else I can do?
