Okay, I'm getting totally confused... this looks fine while I'm in Frontpage and as soon as it gets published to the aol server I get all these funky characters at the top of my page.. Can anyone figure out why this is happening... here is the page: http://members.aol.com/SLopes1070/Enrique/whats-new.htm
Suzie, I viewed your source and deleted the offending characters, all of them down to the <html> tag. I saved the file to my disk and opened it and everything was like it should be, the characters are gone!
Maybe someone else can throw some light on why the characters got there in the first place!
The strange characters certainly are there! I would bet it has something to do with either your FTP program, or something to do with AOL. Or, and this has happened to me before - was your telephone line interrupted when you were uploading? Did someone pick up the phone while you were connected?
If it's none of the above, try uploading again - maybe it's just one of those things?

It may be AOL 'cause they have that script at the beginning of your page that causes the menu bar to show. The only other thing I can think of is to make sure you use ASCII mode to upload your HTML files.
That was odd, i did have a homepage on AOL and didnt like the HTML editor so i didnt use it... I only program directly to the text HTML box when im online in the file manager because my comp is crappy and i have a diffucult time using HTML transfer programs, so i am no help in this situation.. =/ sorry
