Hi! I've got a question which i can't answer myself.

Let's just say that my site's startpage is named INDEX.HTM , My domain name is myname.homepage.com . People access through this URL if i place INDEX.HTM in the main dir of the server . The outcome is that people access my site through this URl , myname.homepage.com/INDEX.HTM .

so the problem is to let people access my site through this URL , myname.homepage.com ,
    & not myname.homepage.com/INDEX.HTM
    .

Anyone who knows how to solve this problem,(i know many of you do.)please help me .

All browsers automatically look for an index file when they access a domain. If you've typed the filename as INDEX.HTM (all in upper case), the browser may fail to recognise it. If this isn't what you've done, try changing it to index.html. These are the only things I can think of.
