Can someone please go look at http://www.professionalphotography.com/index2.htm

and tell me why I keep getting the following error warnings when I try to validate this page in the Hitbox.com HTML validator? I'm going batty, been staring at it too long. Thanks!

line 141 </TR> on line 139 seems to overlap <TD>, opened on line 141.

line 146 </TR> on line 144 seems to overlap <TD>, opened on line 146.

I took a look at your HTML and used the w3 validator at validator.w3.org and I came to the conclusion that the reason the hitbox.com validator was giving you those errors is because it is a bad validator, not because there is an error in your HTML.

Personally, I would use the validator on netmechanic.com, you can edit it to overlook certain minor "errors" (such as the alt tags on your spacers) and have it overlook spellings that it concludes to be wrong (like web page for webpage..)

I've found it to be rather helpful, not to mention free

I use CSE HTML validator right on my computer. Not only do I not have to browse somewhere but it integrates into my favorite editor, Textpad. The integration is so good that a point and click later your taken directly to the offending line. You can also specify what version of HTML you want to check for, what browser your checking for and many other features. You can edit or add tags to suit your needs. It also has many more features. Besides Textpad it integrates into Allaire Homesite/Cold Fusion and several other editors.

You can check it out at http://www.htmlvalidator.com/ and there is a free trial.

    Temis!
I owe you a beer! That one little tag was setting off a whole cascade of validation errors...the longer you look at it, the harder it is to see. Thanks again.
