Sorry, Have now uploaded the second image! Still doesnt display!
This has me stumped - I recently reinstalled Windows 98 and MIE5 only to find the same problem. My employer also has the same problem. However, all of the images on the web page function normally with Netscape. Also, when I changed the number of colours in the images to 256 (in PSP) they functioned properly but if I change the number of colours back to 16 they do not. Is there a colour preference for Internet Explorer or is this some kind of bug. Please go to: http://www.domaindlx.com/swirl/client/entry/test.asp
Note: I do not see both images.

    Any help would be appreciated

ps. Am posting this message so that it is at the top of a new thread.

I have never had a problem with colors with Win98 and IE5 but I always have my screen set to 24 bit color which gives me 16.7 million colors and nothing is dithered. I would check you machines and make sure they have the correct video driver and that colors are set to at least 65,000. This might have an effect because IE might dither graphics differently than Netscape because it uses the Windows default Palette while Netscape has its own color palette that it uses.

Image #2 isn't even loading on my machine. I get a 404 error for that graphic.

Just keep your graphic at 256 colors.
Since they are rather small images it will pretty much load fast no matter how many colors they are.

Out with the old (16) in with the new (16 MILLION)

Ok, your problem is not colors and has nothing to do with IE or Netscape. Some how, your file got corrupted. Sometimes this happens to images, depending on what program you use to make/edit them(dont use Photodeluxe). The file exists but there is no picture there. Make a new picture. Sometimes it just happens for a strange reason, so just make a new picture. I recommend using Photoshop 4 or greater.
