Ok all you IE 4.0 users, maybe you can help me figure out what's going on here.
At my website (www.pawsitronic.com) I have a black image set as my background. In addition to that, I have it set to load the bgcolor as #000000 so that the text will show up while the images are loading.
But in IE 4.0 it shows the background color as white, and never loads the actual black background image. It looks hideous! What am I doing wrong here? Does IE 4.0 not support both commands used together?
It looks just fine in IE 5.0 and in Netscape 4.
Any and all help is greatly appreciated. I feel that I have looked at that page for way too long and am overlooking some silly, slight error
You have two <body> tags on your page. If you look you will find one directly after the </head> tag then you link in a style sheet, there is a <DIV> tag and some Javascript. After all that you will find another body tag that sets your background image and bgcolor. IE 4.0 is ignoring the second Body tag and that is why your getting a white background.
