Contact info on personal Portfolio resume

    Hi all,

I am working on my personal portfolio and i am debating either or either or not i should include address and phone number of my information aviable to public what i mean by this is street address and home phone number and mobile numbers so i can be contacted at,

only thing is that im not too sure if i should have those type of things on a html file that i can just refer to anyone whom im interesting in hiring m?

so how important is it im guessing leaving out my street address or phone number including cell and landline,

Im wanting to know would you include that kind of information to the public on your resume if your doing online web work?

What do you think on this matter?

    Thanks,William

I would never put my home address on something like this, heck my actual CV doesn't have my address on it.

CVs used to have addresses on them because companies would physically mail you acknowledgment and rejection letters, there is no need to have that anymore because companies don't do that anymore.

If you want to put your mobile number on your website that's fine, but I would stick with a contact form myself.

I don't see any problem in providing your address and phone number on the web, it gives people multiple avenues to get in contact (the more ways they can get in touch the increased chances they might be tempted to send you a message using the medium they prefer). For example: I currently have E-mail, Skype, MSN and social networks listed on my contact page but will also soon be adding phone and address information. Just in pointing out the obvious, you have a website right? I'm guessing your address and phone number are visible (in equal measure) on a simple WHOIS lookup. If it's stuffed away in a WHOIS record, why not offer it properly to those who may feel the need to get in touch... seems rather odd to try and "stealth" your physical location to potential clients.
