problem compiling with postgre on WinXP
I have a problem with postgre on WinXP. I downloaded the binary file(for win) from ftp://ftp.postgresql.org/pub/binary/v7.0/NT/ but the file postmaster is only 1KB. Why? I know that on redhat 7.2 is 1.4MB.
Because of this file I canít start postgresql.
Where I can find this file (postmaster)?
I trien also to compile postgre 7.0 but it gave me an error like this ďC compiler canít create executable filesĒ and I donít know why.
The postgre distribution that can be downloaded with cygwin also doesnít have the file postmaster.
What can I do, to make it work?
