    Ubunt serv with xp pro?

    I want to set up my own dedicated server by installing Ubuntu on my 1 TB HDD. Can I install Ubuntu 8.04 LST 32 bit on the same HDD that already has windows xp pro on it it so I can access the server files etc from xp? If so how do I go about doing it?

    Yes, it is possible to install Ubuntu. But you should have different partitions in your existing HDD to install Ubuntu on other partition.

    Also, for XP you will need a utility to read the Linux filesystem (ext3), since XP doesn't natively support ext3:
