Photoshop Image and AOL incompatibility

Alright, I have this problem. I cannot seem to save my photoshop edited image to show up correctly on AOL browsers. My website is http://www.sfjuniors.com
The image is the green volleyball on the top left corner. The image location is: http://www.sfjuniors.com/clipart/tvball.gif
It is a 12 KB, transparent Gif image created with photoshop 5.5. I have tried resaving it with another image program, from a web browser but nothing seems to work. I have even tried different ways of remaking and resaving the image in photoshop because that is the only image editing program I have. Is there a way of fixing this image to compress correctly with AOL?

Don't know about the AOL problem, but 12k is a pretty huge image.....I got it to half of that by dropping it to 64 colors, still looked good. If you can save as a JPEG, they work much better than GIFs for images containing gradients. (At 50% quality, it was down to under 3k.....)

Another thing you can do to cut down on the image size follows.

click File,
Save a copy
when the box opens...make sure the "EXCLUDE NON IMAGE DATA" is checked...

Photoshop has a habit of saving all kinds of interesting info into files that isnt really needed.
