    Look around. You're оnly one here with this setup. Others use Apache and unix.
    In my opinion one must be suicide or beaten up hard by microsoft to use their operation system as a front-end server.

    Some use Apache and Windows (many via WAMP or XAMP). There is nothing wrong with using Apache on Windows

    As a development server.
    For the front-end server I said above. Windows is just insecure and too expensive.

    For a live server I would probably use Linux. In any case whatever OS a server uses it should have up to date anti-virus and anti-malware/spyware/etc software installed.
