Each step in solving the 3x3x3 in a fridrich method consist of a few moves, aka R, U`, R, U. THough each algorithm will have that slightly modified.
Aka

F, R, U`, R, U, F`.

It will always have those 4 in it (well, those in hte step). It's hard to explain so here you go

It's like that.

I don't know how my memory is so good..I can look at almost anything and if I'm given a few seconds I can have it memorized. It's rare I forget something (my parents say I have selective memory though )

2. Ever try one of these?

I can get it to one off on each of 3 of the 4 sides (one side perfect, woot!), but that's as far as I've ever gotten with it. You think the same algo might work?

3. That has 3 layers sorta like a 3x3x3 so that algorithm I gave will only work for a 4x4x4(x6x6x6 too)

I've never messed with those but it's the same concept. I'd need a picture of what you currently have on it to tell what you'd need to do

4. 01:04.93 . New time.

Unexpected twist at the end
PS-It's me solving the cube

6. Well, congrats man ! The movie has 3 min 4 sec

7. Yeah I was explaining what I was doing, introduction, and I was having some trouble starting my inspection time counter..computer was slow :P

8. Right, computer was slow but you not !

9. Actually looking back at the video. I could achieve 55 seconds if I look ahead and see my options when I finish solving a section. I have moments in there where I just look.

Also, if I learned finger tricks (greatly improves speed) I could get an average of 50 seconds. That's about how fast my method is..I'm learning the fridrich method though so hopefully within a few months you will see my times jump down to 20 seconds

10. 00:52.36 . Just creamed my old record.

11. wow, you're the master of Rubik !

12. Just wait a few months..20 second times I'm telling ya

Trying one of those right now at the moment . Gotta say I love it.

Though I don't think there is a fine line where I can compare and say one is better then the other .

16. It's a Rubik thread, dude, don't miss the point !

3x3x3, 4x4x4, 32-24-36, what's the diff? Seems like we're on point - it's just that sometimes the edges have curves.

i am so proud of him... and he's pretty pumped about it, too

his new record is 10.96, which is made up of an average of 5 solves -- 11.43, 11.66, 10.86, 10.56, 10.58

24. ^it sounds like a sf movie...10 second, 20 second, 30 second...unreal...they are aliens, for sure !
