I hope someone can help me on this. The question is, is it possible to receive an e-mail when you are sent a message from a facebook group?
I recently setup a fan page for a company. Their competitor is using a Facebook group. Being part of their competitor group (via individual accounts), they get emails whenever a 'group' message is sent. Its your typical 'you have a facebook message' type email.
How is this done? I do not get e-mails being part of other groups. I have checked my notifications settings and everything is ON. I have also setup a test group, got a couple of friends to join, and tried sending a message. They get something in their facebook inbox, but no e-mail letting them know about it. I've read the facebook help pages and there's no mention that you get e-mails from groups. From: Facebook [mailto:firstname.lastname@example.org]
