    onload and window.close

    I have a logoff page where this script is executed and the page is supposed to close. However before the script executes a popup window asks the user whether they really they eally want to close the window. Is this new to IE? How do I get rid of the autoconfirmation? here is the script below.

    <script language="javascript">

    I fapped around with this for ages myself a while back. The problem is because you are trying to close a window javascript didnt open.

    Solution:

    Btw, AFAIK its not a new thing to IE.
