    link color code

    Hello

    I bought a template which is real nice. But the hyperlinks on the page are white because that is the only color that shows on the black and purple navigation bars.

    The problem I have is in the body of the website. The background is white so obviuosly the link cannot be seen.

    I know html so I tried putting in the link code just before the link with a new color and then ending it after the link. But it stayed white.

    Is it not possible to have more than one color of hyperlinks on a page? If it is poosible, would someone please help with the code or the positioning - whatever I am doing one.

    This simple project has because a nuisance and frustration.
    thx

    <a href="x.htm" style="color: #ff0000;">This link is red</a>
    <a href="x.htm" style="color: #00ff00;">This link is green</a>

    Or define...
    <style>
    a.link_blue {color:#0000ff;}
    </style>

    and use like this:
    <a href="x.htm" class="link_blue">This link is blue</a>
