    Question Mailto + large body

Im new in this forum. I wanted to ask how can I make a "mailto:" URL with a large body. I already tried, but it msgs me some Outlook window telling me "the mail service is wrongly configured".

I would appreciate you to help me with this problem. Thank you very much.

    Hi,

What do you mean by a "large body"?

This is a mail tag with subject line:

    <a href="mailto:mail@mail.com?subject=Enter subject title">Email me</a>

Hope this is what you need!

    Lou

    RE

yes, but if I need to:

    <a href="mailto:mail@mail.com?subject=Enter subject title?body=Enter body here">Email me</a>

and the "enter body here" is a very large body, and it shows me the message. If I use a shorter body, It doesnt.

I need to know another way of sending a mail from a URL

It is not an "official" way of doing things anyway, it's a hack. But you could try <a href="mailto:foo@fi.com?subject=Hello&body=Your other stuff can go here">.

You would be better off using a server side language (php's mail() function comes to mind) for what I imagine you are trying to do....
