Do FrontPage extensions vanish with FTP?

My ISP tells me it has the FP extensions available, but when I call them with my .htm (that uses webbot to send a mail and report me a database) the IE says that the FP Extensions are not available.

A friend of mine told me that if I use a FTP publisher (I Use ACE FTP) the extensions would vanish, and I would need to re-install them from the ISP.

Is that posible?

if you have the extensions enabled, then you should not use FTP to upload the files.....it can cause problems...

yes, you may need to get your host to re-install the extensions........
