Don't you just hate it when...

You sit down with a nice batch of Grape Tomatos and are eating them like candy and one is overripe?

I don't know what grape tomatoes are, so it must be a Californian and West Virginian thing that I have never heard of.

Ah yes, Cheery toms, finger licking good. Kinda like eating popcorn and half breaking your teeth on one that hasnt completely popped yet. Really ruins your day

Actually these are smaller than a cherry tomato and so sweet it is like eating sugar when they are ripe. I would say they are about half the size of a cherry tomato and about the size of a grape. They come in both gold and red varieties in my area.

Cherry tomatoes are also good but not quit as sweet.

Yeah, that sucks, it ruins the whole taste.

But I hate it more when a Anvil randomly drops on my head, that gets annoying after a while.

Grape tomatos are quite good. Overripe ones though ruin the experience. Sorry to hear that, Wayne.

I work in the vegetable department of a local supermarket, and I never heard of grape tomatoes. I did here about prume tomatoes, or pommodores though.
Jeesh, and I thought cherry tomatoes were heavenly. H', I have to try out that combo someday as well, it sounds heavenly indeed!

Yep.. They are small enough that you can eat them like popcorn and quite delicious. Not being a purveyor of fine chocolate like some other staff, I find them to be the best treat.

Next year, I will be planting several varieties in my garden so I can have a continual supply all summer.
