Post Facebook blocks 'Web 2.0 Suicide Machine'

Called Web 2.0 Suicide Machine, the site's pitch goes like this: "Tired of your Social Network? Liberate your newbie friends with a Web2.0 suicide! This machine lets you delete all your energy-sucking social-networking profiles, kill your fake virtual friends, and completely do away with your Web2.0 alter ego."

I'm less and less inclined to go on Facebook and you

Interesting Post and yes, i think these social networking sites are not really going to help us in driving quality traffic, since now there are many social networks and hence they all have much more virtual friends.

reboltutorial, it probably has something to-do with the fact that Facebook like to retain profiles (even post death of the user), having an automated mechanism to "delete" accounts would potentially detract from their traffic as it would make them seem less popular then they appear (with fewer user accounts it runs the risk of making people less likely to sign up). Even if the accounts are dormant they still pose a popularity rank as far as contributing to the numbers.
