best US-based dedicated webhosting

Hi,

does anyone have good experience, both price-wise and support, with a US based genuine webhosting company for dedicated servers?

I am looking for a cheap 20-40 usd/month dedicated server that must be physically placed within the USA.

Yes, I have good price and support experience with US based web hosting companies for dedicated servers.

But not at $20-40/month.

You can't run a good dedicated server company at $20-40/mo per server. There's no way that would cover the costs of the hardware, let alone a well run data center with high level techs on staff 24/7.

At this price point you have two options:

1) VPS hosting, much more reasonable to find a VPS at that cost from a reliable company

2) Hopping from server reseller to reseller, companies owned by 16 year olds that don't understand the real cost of running their business yet, who will fail to provide adequate service or support when you need it

When you're ready for a more realistic price range, say $100-200/month per server for starters, look at SoftLayer.

lunarpages is based in texas and as far as i use them since 2 years is good.....

I think you need to reconsider your request one more time. Try to understand what is more important for you: quality or price.
I'd recommend you shift the the search to VPS
