Picasa as Image Host

Has anyone used Picasa as an image host for a web site? For experimental purposes, I'm trying to figure out the best combination of resources to host a free web site. Picasa seems like it would be a great image host, but I havn't actually tested and I'm wondering if anyone has.

I think alternative flickr has some marketing value thorough social networking.

I have never heard of this company before. Sorry. But I think if you would like to find out more about this web hosting company you need to do the search for the reviews.

Picasa works just like any other image hosts. It hosts your images in galleries and if I remember right you can allow downloading of images and you can share with family or friends and set them private...it's been awhile since I looked at Google's Picasa service.

i mostly use photobucket or else flickr. I have never used piccasa
