    Rating Formula

    Hello guys.

    Can some one tell me which is the best rating formula to use so that the value is not averaged but we can get a correct weighted rating.

    some thing like the IMDB rating formula or Wilson Score Interval

    Well, I've not heard about the IMDB rating but now that I read about it, it looks like it's very easy to implement in any programming language, certainly possible in php

    just use concept of average:
    Code:
    average = sum of quantitties / no of quantities
