    Video Tutorial Restrictions

I recently purchased the download rights to 15 video tutorials. The first thing I did was burn them on a CD-ROM. When I get done with them, is it an acceptable practice to load the cd-rom to a friend? I didn't notice any copyright or license restrictions when I played them.

    Thanks.

If you took it to their house and played it for them (then took it back with you) they probably wouldn't mind (on the basis that it's not personal use but it's being restricted from illegal copying), however if you were burning copies for your friend or allowed them to have permanent access to it (beyond your disk which you retain) it would qualify for copyright infringement and it would defiantly be unacceptable (spreading it about).

But I would e-mail SitePoint and ask before you do anything, don't want to do something bad.
