It might help if you say which country you want to host your site in.

It would also help if you were to say what your hosting requirements are. At the moment with no information there are very few hosting providers that can be limiinimated from the list of the world's hosting providers which we so far know would not be suitable for hosting your site (and we can only eliminate that handful because they are so bad that everyone ought to avoid them). Depending on your requirements any of the others no matter how unsuitable they are for other people may be just what you are looking for.

Also, maybe you could explain what are the shortcomings of your current host that made you decide to move, as a way for people to know what's very important for you in a host.

If your requirements are pretty normal any host can fulfil your need. But that is not the thing. As others said important point is that what are the qualities you are looking in a host. I would suggest a self research by finding reviews when you get some recommendations.

    Thumbs up

The hosting provider you should choose basically depends on your requirements. Your budget, the features you need, the kind of support required, the location of servers etc. plays a very important role and it will be easier to suggest a hosting package or server if you can provide some more information about your requirements.

I think forums like this one have special forum sections which are called marketplace. I think that is good idea to start search there. Try to understand what different web hosting companies offer and compare with what you need

How do you know that GoDaddy have a plan to meet the OPs requirements. They haven't told us what the requirements are.

They might have a requirement that it be hosted in a particular country or it might be required to support a particular language or there may be a script they want to use that doesn't work with GoDaddy.

Until the OP gets back to us to specify requirtements we can't start to determine what hosting may be suitable but unless they have rather unusual requirements it is unlikely that GoDaddy will make the top ten suggestions list - GoDaddy is iin the domain business and their hosting means as much to them as fries means to Maccas - something to get extra money out of you for.

I suppose you need to estimate what you need. How much are you willing to pay etc
Who knows perhaps you will be happy with free web hosting

Well, it might be possible that the hosting package offered by the free web hosting provider satisfies the needs of the websites, however, it is still recommended that one considers a paid hosting provider in order to get reliability and good quality support. Though, it is not necessary that you will get good quality support and reliability with the paid hosting provider, the chances of getting this type of service are more if you consider a paid hosting provider

Since the OP hasn't replied to any of the requests for more info we are all in te dark as to what they actually need. Let's see if I can find that crystal ball and figure out what they want. Nope, cb is still not working properly.

Would you like to have hosting in UK or US and what are your requirements regarding diskspace and whats the budget?

Accordingly I guess you will get more suggestions.
