    IE 7 not displaying table background image

    Hello,

    Does anyone have a fix for IE 7 not displaying the background image to a table which I created? This watermark shows great in Firefox and Chrome.

    Thanks,

    Hello, it's very simple:

    <table width="80&#37;" border="0" align="center" background="images/Seal watermark.jpg">
    <tr>
    <td width="15%">First Name</td>

    try the style attribute instead and let us know what happens :

    <table width="80%" border="0" align="center" style="background-image:url('images/sealWatermark.jpg')">

    Also rename Seal watermark.jpg to sealWatermark.jpg or anything that doesn't have a whitespace between the words/letters (it might help)

    Some will disapprove inline style, you can likewise use css

    css:

    .tableBG{
    background-image:url(images/sealWatermark.jpg);
    }

    html

    <table width="80%" border="0" align="center" class="tableBG">

    goodluck !

    Hello,

    I tried everything that you suggested:

    renaming the file with no space, the background-image url and the CSS inline...nothing worked. Still can't get the image showing in IE7. Works in FF and Safari.

    Thanks for trying.

    Let me know if you have more suggestions...

    Please don't despair, If it didn't work something must be wrong with your overall code maybe you forgot to close a table tag somewhere, you can post the link so we can have a good look at it

    i saved your files on my local machine including your background image.

    the problem was that you image was in CMYK mode.

    for web you need to convert it into RGB Mode.

    i m attaching my pic. when it get approve try it.
