    Anyone familiar with cakePHP?

I have taken on the task of transferring a website for a client from a company that has gone down the pan and it seems to use something called cakePHP.

I have copied all the files to the new server and imported the MySql dump of the database.

When I load up the site, it is not working. I am assuming this is due to the fact I need to set the details of the database somewhere.

Anyone know where in cake I would set these details. The site files I have uploaded included a directory named "cake" with various files and folders in it.

Hope someone can shed some light on this.

    Thanks

I have got the database reading in now however the site does not appear to be reading in any css or js files.

I am setting this up on shared hosting and inside my "public_html" folder I have an index.php file and an "app" and "cake" folder

Inside the "app" folder is a "webroot" folder that appears to contain all the "css", "js" and "images" folders.

I have never used cakePHP or any other framework before so this is all new to me.

I am assuming that it is a path problem and perhaps I need to use a mod_rewrite or htaccess file? If so, any advice much appreciated.

    Thanks in advance

I'm guessing you're going to have to become pretty familiar with the ol' manual here Paul.

*waves hand in a Jedi mind trick manner* Here is the configuration you are looking for...
