I support Korea but to tell the truth, the referee seemed biased to me. Two goals of Spain weren't given and there were some other ambigious desicions in the match. It seems like FIFA is pushing Korea to the finals

I couldn't see this match but in the last match with Italy, Korea was heavily supported by the referees. May be some deal with FIFA? Or what?

Ruchir we talk about match-fixing and unfair decisions in cricket. But I can feel their is something even worse going on in this worldcup. May be I am wrong.

also on the missed penatly - the goalie came about 4 ft fro his line b4 the guy striked, and the linesmen - about 5-10 metres away did nothing and the ref 10-20 metres away did nothing.

This worldcup has been SO dodgy imho.

I agree the refs have given some very dodgy decisions to Korea, also to Japan, Italy had two perfectly good goals disallowed for no reason at all.

In the Italy games, the referee's performance was unforgivable. Against Spain, I think the ref was more fair. The first goal was offsides once I look at it again but the 2nd was not out of bounds although it must have looked like that to the line ref. Besides the 2nd goal was scored after the ref had blown the whistle and everyone had stopped moving. The refs still favored korea though. I hope Germany beats them.

No matter how the refs blow, they will not be able to beat brazil in the finals if they make it.

Refrees controversy ? well actually i dont support the stuff as well. BUT isnt it difficult for refrees to watch everything and anything minute. we have benefit of slow motion replays, but they dont and have to decide on their own quick!! so i dont completly blame thei decisions. if u see most of the controversial replays, ull see that the refree is in an odd position or doesnt get the proper view. this is where the prob comes.

but if a refree does it purposely, i strongly oppose it !!

It is their job. They are paid for it. So they must be better at referee-ing a live match than a normal person.

About offsides, YOU cannot judge that because the image you see is not taken from the angle that the line referees see.

also on the missed penatly - the goalie came about 4 ft fro his line b4 the guy striked, and the linesmen - about 5-10 metres away did nothing and the ref 10-20 metres away did nothing.
On the missed penalty, the only one that's to blame is Camacho, who made an injured player shoot a penalty kick: you don't make an injured player shoot penalties for God's sake ! Have you seen how he mis-shot the ball ?

The thing is, he didn't shoot the ball with a sly angle and with enough power, he just tried to power a straight ground ball past the goalie, it was the coach's fault for making an injured guy shoot a penalty.
