To me, this is just another way in which Google tries to bind people into their network. I would watch it to become dependent on Google because they really don't do all this work just to please us, you know.

As arts-multimedia says yeah google wants people to make them dependant on them but is there a better choice, if there is please tell me but I don't think there is a simpler one. I's good to see a ruby on rails tutorial in a long time here at sitepoint.
Am I the only one freaked out by the notion that the world's biggest advertisement company is now compiling data about our relationships? What next - targeted ads like "Guess what your brother just bought on Amazon.com" or "Check out this dating service - your best friend, neighbor and wife are all members"?
No thanks! I'll let the terminal-monkeys and gadget-zombies shoot themselves in the foot with this one, but I want no part of it.
