This is the first time I've heard about this ikiClassifieds. Well, classified ads is another way to increase your search engine ranking. since you're advertising, you can bring traffic to your site.

The script look nice.

But it cannot create more than 1 level of subcategories.

You cannot charge different paid ad pricing for different categories. Currently, you can only charge a flat rate for a top ad.

I buyed ikiclassifieds script for my site, and can tell you that the script is good but the after sales support is almost zero, and the price of the script is high.

Can anyone help me to install google analytics into my ikiclassifieds site? Into which file should I edit, and where?

I bought this script a few months ago and no problem with the customer service so far. They usuallly reply within 30 minutes.

To install google analytics: go to the admin panel (homepage). There is a section called "Stats" with a field "Counter stats". You just need to insert the google analytics code there

are you sure you have a legal copy of the script? if you copy/paste the Google Analytics code in this field it should be working properly.

You should contact the support by opening a new ticket. Their tech guys will fix the issue for you.

Of course it's legal.

I will try opening a ticket, but I'm not very optimistic, as some previous tickets have not been replied.

Anyway, please keep me informed if anyone is having the same problem with ikiclassifieds script.

don't know what's the problem with your site but the customer support I have had from ikiclassifieds is outstanding. My questions are usually answered within a few hours.

Anyway I agree with logokala, their tech guys will fix the problem.

@Site Pointer: they just released a new version of the script (v4). Now you can create an unlimited number of level of subcategories. You can charge different paid ad pricing for different categories too.

iki script seen to be good from outside.

But there are a lot of bugs here and there and support is suck.

New version seen like using free phpbb forum and they are charging ..

Any copyright issue here ? anyone use new version ?

Hope they can improve support ...

I am happy to hear that it is legal to use phpbb forum. but it is not working properly.

Support still can't answer my question yet.

I am going to ask for refund, not worth to pay 3 digits price for such buggy script. it should be sold at $50.

anyway, i am going to use xzeroscripts.

Sorry to interupt, but their after sale support is capital ZERO. Their sales is always available to collect money from new sales. After that, No support, even the installation which they said that should be done in 24 hours. ZERO!!!!

Unfortunately , i purchased the software and it was
frustrating for me. - Customer service is poor, and slow response.
plus there were problems in script and not functioning properly.
