Is this mod deflate config correct?

I've taken the basic config from the apache site and seems to work ok on my test site. I've set it to work on html, text, xml, css and javascript files. But I don't really understand it so before I set it live on the production site could anyone just confirm that this is correct and won't do something horrible? Thanks

    LoadModule deflate_module modules/mod_deflate.so

    #mod deflate settings
    AddOutputFilterByType DEFLATE text/html text/plain text/xml text/css text/javascript application/x-javascript
    BrowserMatch ^Mozilla/4 gzip-only-text/html
    BrowserMatch ^Mozilla/4\.0[678] no-gzip
    BrowserMatch \bMSIE !no-gzip !gzip-only-text/html

    hesso,

That looks EXACTLY like what's on the mod_deflate page at Apache.org so I can't argue with any of it.
