    Being a clutz..simple Javascript not working

    Code:
    <input style="margin: 3px;width:141px;height:16px;background:url(http://www.ryanreese.net/markupgeeks/sliced/login_text_bg.gif);padding:5px;border:0;font-size:11px;color:#666;" type="text" name="user" size="10" value="Username..." onfocus="if(this.value=='Username...') this.value='';" onblur="if(this.value=='') this.value='Username...';" class="input_text" /><br />
            <input style="margin: 3px;width:141px;height:16px;background:url(http://www.ryanreese.net/markupgeeks/sliced/login_text_bg.gif);padding:5px;border:0;font-size:11px;color:#666;" type="text" name="passwrd" size="10" value="Password..." onfocus="if(this.value=='Password...') this.value='';" onblur="if(this.value=='') this.value='Password...';" class="input_password" />
    Why isn't it removing the text and replacing them?

    Sorry for all the inline styles. Still testing.

    What browser are you using? It seems to work correctly for me.

    I had it working however I didn't notice the forum was throwing syntax error (php) at me. So I thought the page updated when it really didn't.

    If you're going to be making something for web developers and specifically "markup geeks", at least don't put your javascript in inline event handlers!! Use external JS files.

    The site is in development. I'm sure this will be cleaned up long before we go live.
