    Good resources on learning PHP?

I'm mainly a .net programmer and I'd like to get a good over view of PHP. Does anyone have any books or sites that they would like to recommend?

Yeah, http://www.php.net/manual/en/ will be a huge resource for you. I'd also check out this book.

    Hi,

when i started php I found this book brilliant:

    http://www.amazon.com/PHP-MySQL-Web-...8804564&sr=1-1
It goes into detail around basic programming which you aere probably aware of but it also goes into the syntax of php from the very beginning as well as giving info about apache.

I would avoid the Sitepoint ( Yank's ) PHP book... the Luke/Welling book is a tad outdated, I would recommend David Powers excellent PHP Solutions for a beginner.. very modern and practical code examples.
    Cross browser css bugs

Dan Schulz you will be missed
