    Windows XP blinds for W2000

    Hi all,

I am using W2000 professional, and I love this OS. Where can I get FREE Windows XP blinds for my W2000 professional?

If I'm right, you can use the trial version, but it might prompt you to register at times. quite annoying, but if you dont wanna spend $20 [US], you can use the trial version.

Again, I'm not sure about these...i remember trying windowblinds quite a long while ago.

As long as I remembered there is certain free of charge application, or just a file that used to overwrite my current OS W2000 Professional, then I can have Windows XP blind.

I do not know whether I am correct of not.

I tried Windows Blinds for a few days and quit using it. I found it slowed my system down and I never could figure out how to get my taskbar skinned, which was really what I wanted. I think you need some other program (StarDock?) to do it, but I'm just fed up with the intricacies with it. Having to download two or three programs and set them up is not my idea of convenient.

Thats pretty typical. Themes and such created a large performance shot. One of the largest downfalls of windows.

I love the Window XP shell modifications that allow custom themeing. There's no slowdown at all because the themes utilize Windows' own themeing engine, the one used to supply the default Blue/Silver/Olive Windows XP look.
