Need advice looking for a client friendly domain registrar...

    Hello.

I currently have domain names hosted at 123-reg and LCN and now I'm looking for another decent, solid, client friendly domain name provider.

I have around 25 client domain names in my accounts of both sites, that I want to separate out into their own client accounts - as I don't want to admistratate or be responsible for that area anymore. I need a domain name provider who has a good price and a nice and simple client friendly interface for renewing and buying domain names. LCN make it very difficult to separate domains into their own client accounts, the time and effort involved is too much at the moment. I want a provider who will make this easy on me -- not only to transfer to them (and not charge!) but to have these domains in their own client accounts - so the client themselves can renew and look after their domains. The domain names are mostly .co.uk or .com

Preferrable a UK provider would be best, just because phone support or email support is in my time frame.

Any one have any ideas on this?
    James

What about Reseller Club? It's my #1 registrar, better than GoDaddy and others

Though based in the U.S. I use Infoquest because it is very easy to setup and transfer domains. They also are a great hosting company.

littlejim84, I can highly recommend Daily.co.uk, their UK based, have local support, friendly staff and a decent set of controls for managing domains, their also the cheapest registrar I have found in the UK (even more-so than godaddy), the only downside is they have a more restrictive set of TLD's to register (but they have all the main ones). It might be worth giving them a check-over to see if they will suit your needs

You can try regfly They have beens ending some promo offers to my inbox a few months ago (I had an account with regfly years ago). It was a good registrar. Thankfully, I was able to move my domains out of this company before its crash...

I'm presently with Namehog.net and have been for several years. And I've heard of others recommending Merihosting.

A client of mine set up domain registration and hosting with LCN ... a total nightmare in my experience trying to deal with them. They couldn't even set up the account so that you only need to type in website.co.uk ... for this client's website you need to use www.website.co.uk otherwise you get an error.

All of my clients' domain names are with NameCheap. A very simple interface and great prices.

I can't resist urging people away from GoDaddy, as their web site is atrocious with impossible navigation, and their main business is selling unnecessary upgrades and services to the unknowing using domain registration the hook. I was an advocate of GoDaddy many years ago, but they lost me along the way.

A lot of companies offer all in one web hosting solutions but for the some reasons that is not recommended to have web hosting abd domain name from the same company

Though based in China. I use Todaynic because it is very easy to setup and transfer domains. They also are a great ICANN and CNNIC accredited domain name registrars.

What is a good price for you?

I'd name a solution for you to look at the offers of sibername linked for you to see what is offered.

I trust this company knowing about the quality they are working with and experience they have... Maybe the prices are not the cheapest, but quality, extras and specials for bulk reg are making their business. your .com and .co.uk domains are availiable, and I bet the country code top level domains (co.uk) can even be cheaper than you may get from EU-based companies.
