    Creating PDF files with PHP

This is a followup to a previous post about generating reports from a DB query. Once a report has been generated, Id like to give our users at least a handful of formatting tools so they can format the report and then convert the whole thing to a PDF they can download, print, etc.

Can someone point me in the right direction to get information about how to accomplish this?

In the old SitePoint PHP Anthology there was a script which could generate a pdf from php, I can't remember the name of the script offhand. It is probably php4 but with some effort you could upgrade it to php5.

There are many thirdparty libs for php for pdf generation.
    some lists:
    - tcpdf
    - dompdf
    - fpdf
    - html2pdf
    ...

But PHP5 have native support for PDF if the extension are enabled.

Thanks for the replies. We'll be using PHP5 on a dedicated server so we should be able to enable whatever we want.
