best HTML guide/reference book
Hello
I'm new to HTML and I am going crazy trying to find a text/reference book
to begin my journey.......... I am very impress with the content and format
of Sitepoint and would love to have it in a printed option to read and follow
along with............. so if anyone can recommend one ........ please
thanks in advance,
Rob

There are lots of excellent books, as a quick dip into Amazon will show. Still, if you want to start at SitePoint, this is a good'n:
Build Your Own Web Site The Right Way Using HTML & CSS
The Head First books are also worth a look: HTML and XHTML with CSS etc.

It's also worth checking out the HTML and CSS references, there's a free online version (available if you hit the references button in the main navigation menu) but there is also an off-line printed version if you want something physical to flick through
If you want some non-Sitepoint books which are also worth a look then I can offer plenty of recommendations, for excellent titles by industry guru's (not that there's anything wrong with the SitePoint titles!)
