having tables inside a div

I am trying to design an email template here

The problem is that I can't get the unordered list that is below the orange rectangle to appear inside of it instead of below it. What am I doing wrong? Here is my html code;

Your div tag is invalid there. It needs to be either inside of a <td> or outside the <table>

A table may not have a div as a child. A div may contain a table, though.
