    having tables inside a div

    I am trying to design an email template here

    The problem is that I can't get the unordered list that is below the orange rectangle to appear inside of it instead of below it. What am I doing wrong? Here is my html code;

    Code HTML4Strict:
    <table>
    		<div id="box-orange">

    		<tr>
    	    <td width="270" valign="top" style="background-color:#fff; text-align:left;">
    			<h2>Case Studies- What We Do For Our Clients</h2>
    			<ul>
    			<li><a href="http://www.tuvel.com/case-studies/1105">1105 Government Information Group: Using Social Media to Drive Tradeshow Traffic</a></li>

    			</ul>
    		</td>
    		<td width="270" valign="top" style="background-color:#fff; text-align:left;">

    Your div tag is invalid there. It needs to be either inside of a <td> or outside the <table>

    A table may not have a div as a child. A div may contain a table, though.

    edit: Missed it by thi-is much.

    cheers,
