    Anyone use the InternetMarketingCenter ?

I have been seeing lots of stuff by Corey Reid. He has become the Jay Abraham of the net. And I am wondering if anyone has ever bought any of his courses, and what you thought of it ?

I will hand it to him (corey) that he has the best copy on his sites that i have seen anywhere else on the web, but that allways makes me a little wary, as i heard that the book (which costs $200) claims to be 190 pages long and has the best marketing tips in the world, but its actually is printed in a font size of 18 to increase pages and the book contains the most basic marketing methods, reciprocal links etc.

    I would stay well clear.

I have found that true of almost all marketing books. But I have also found value by having maetrial presented in one organized place, where all the crap and duplication is eliminated so I can learn it in 6 hours instead of 600.

SOunds like you bought some of his stuff. Want to sell your unreferenced stuff that you don't use anymore, or is that prohibited?

    Corey Rudl - Feedback

Rather than rehash what has been said in another forum,
    try visiting http://www.friendsinbusiness.com/board1/
and searching the archives for Corey Rudl - I believe
you will find information on Sitepoint's archives as
well - there is lots of first hand experience out there.

My personal experience with his course was very good - super
summary of the exact way he has created is multi-million
dollar online company, it's the real thing. As with
any information if you use it, act on it - you have a good
chance of success if you don't - save your $200.

    Cheers...

Nice guy (let's me reprint his content from time to time), good advice... Not worth paying for. There is simply too much free marketing information out there, as has already been said.

    Arrow As for me...

"I don't believe there's much covered that you can't learn for free on the Net .. there are alot of good content on marketing that's on the Net"

Couldn't have said that better !
I don't have the course, but I am pretty sure this statement stands true.

    Hi,

I bought the course a year ago. It was not completely worthless but I would never recommend it to anyone. I would say it is worth around $20, not $200.

If you want to order a Marketing Course I think MakeMySiteSell is a good start. I have read both MakeMySiteSell and Corey Rudls marekting course and think MYSS is better and it only costs $25.00. (You can find it at http://myss.sitesell.com/)

But instead of buying a marketing course covers everything from Search engines to Public Releations my recomendation is to buy books on each subject you want to learn more about.

As others have done, I would not recommend purchasing any online marketing course. Most of them are just packed with information that everyone except a total newbie would know. It is much more worthwhile (and inexpensive) to just check out some of the existing FREE sources on the web. I suggest starting right here at SitePoint with some of the phenomenal articles. Hope this helps!
